Dra. Carla da Silva Santana




Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Faculty of Rehabilitation ASCE, RJ (1988), Master of Education, Methodist University of Piracicaba (1996) and a PhD in Educational Psychology and Human Development from the University of São Paulo (2001), Postdoc by Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, University of Oxford. She is currently Professor Doctor, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo in an exclusive dedication. She has experience in Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on Care for Elderly with Cognitive and Sensory Disorders, acting on the following topics: Gerontecnologia, Development of Assistive Technology for the Elderly, Occupational Therapy in Neuro-Gerontology, Research Methodology in Health and Aging . She is guiding teacher of the Graduate Program in Bioengineering Interunits EESC / IQSC / FMRP-USP.
